"I step into my power as a visionary leader. I honor my Virgo precision and Capricorn strength to build a legacy of unshakeable financial security. I am a vessel for innovative inspiration, attracting professional breakthroughs that align with my soul’s purpose. My life is a harmonious blend of focused ambition and nurturing love, and I welcome the limitless abundance that flows to me as I embrace my truest self."
The reality of living through thirty years of depression and primarily passive suicidality—with some active periods of suicidality—is that you either succumb to the "phantom lumps" society tells you to swallow, or you build an identity that can survive them. Since elementary school, I’ve been navigating a world that wasn't built for a neurodivergent, non-binary brain. Out of that friction, Sheena Monster became less of a nickname and more of a definitive source of power—a refusal to "save face" or settle for the shit packaged as chocolate. My clinical work is an extension of that refusal. Seventeen years in behavioral health—spanning residential community and vocational IDD/DDD, residential treatment for children and adolescents, memory care, and hospice—have taught me that most systems would rather rely on sanitized narratives than confront the grotesque honesty of human experience. While I was in hospice, I also did significant research work, and now I am working toward an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I focus on bibliotherapy, somatic integration, and I am a fierce advocate for LGBTQIA+ individuals and culturally diverse communities. As a member of the queer community and a clinician-in-training who has actually been in the trenches, I look for the truth that exists beneath the clinical tropes. I write social commentary because I can’t un-see the connections. Patriarchal delusions, systemic deceptions, and democratic erosion aren't abstract concepts; they are the structures that glare at the face and scream for recognition. As an avid reader of everything from centuries-old prose to meta-analyses, a collector of oddities, and a spiritually attuned creator, I use The Social Deep to deconstruct the status quo. I am not here to play politics; I am here to name the things society works hardest to ignore. Grounding happens in the wild—Northwestern Pennsylvania was the start, but the West and the South provided the perspective. When I’m not deconstructing the world or studying, I’m taking nature walks, camping, or fishing with my two children: Baloo, a 4-year-old Village Dog, and Raksha, a 4-month-old German Shepherd mix—not yet trail-ready, but building stamina one step at a time. This is the journey that made me who I am, and it’s still unfolding.
